Technology

HF Acid Decon is a blend of non-hazardous salts, chelaters and wetting agents. A strong affinity for fluoride and acids enables HF Acid Decon to neutralize hydrofluoric, sulfuric, hydrochloric and phosphoric acids safely on contact. HF Acid Decon creates a soluble salt that converts acid to a non-toxic, non-hazardous and non-reactive product that can be washed away. HF Acid Deconis based on non-hazardous ingredients, which makes it an environmentally friendly acid-spill solution. It also contains a built-in color indicator, which will ensure a neutralized spill (blue indicates neutral pH).

Applications

Apply HF Acid Decon to the spill area or equipment to be cleaned. HF Acid Decon will turn red on contact with acid. Add enough of the product to maintain a blue color, which signifies neutral pH.

Packaging Storage + Shelf Life

Recommend storing in sealed containers at <80° F for no longer than 8 months.
