SOS-5300 MTBE remediation is the most efficient and cost-effective way to eliminate soil and ground water contamination by MTBE (methyl-tertiary-butyl ether). MTBE, a fuel additive, was used to make gasoline burn cleaner and more efficiently.

MTBE has been classified as a hazardous contaminant, and its use has been banned in most states. MTBE is one of the harder contaminants to remediate, but SOS-5300 MTBE has been used with great success in remediating numerous contaminated sites with minimal time and effort. SOS-5300 MTBE works exceptionally well for both soil and water remediation.

Technology

SOS-5300 MTBE is a natural botanical blend of enzyme systems coupled with 12 strains of microbes that accelerate the digestion of MTBE in soil and water remediation. The living enzyme systems advance the cleavage while the microbes further digest the hydrocarbons, leaving only carbon dioxide, water and salts.
