Technology

FOG Guarde™ for FOG reduction in wastewater treatment is a microbial digestion system designed to minimize or eliminate the excessive buildup of FOG. Employing GRAS-listed microbes and a specific nutrient blend, FOG Guarde’s™ enzymes are released to break down triglycerides into smaller units. The microbes and enzymes then work in tandem to perform six specific steps. The cycle repeats until the long chain is reduced to two-carbon units. This is the form that aerobic bacteria must use in their reproductive process. The process repeats until all FOG are consumed.
